Film fun

I just developed a roll of film the other day, and every time I do it hurts.  Processing film gets more expensive each time i go (and i haven't been going that long so i fear for the future).  Oh well.  Here are some of my favorites:

3-Dean/Vision

Let me just be the first to say this is by no means an original idea, but the concept is so good I just have to jump on the band wagon!  Basically the things is I love sharing what inspires me with other people, and i love being inspired.  So i created a site called 3-Dean/Vision.  It's basically an online scrapbook of things that inspire my photography as well as my other art.  I'm really excited about this project, because it keeps my creative juices flowing (whatever that means).  I'll be posting to it regularly so go check it out here!!

Andrew and Amarissa

Last Saturday my uncle drove down to Santa Barbara, bringing the two cutest kids with him, my cousins Amarissa and Andrew.  We all went down to the Botanical gardens where I had the pleasure of shooting some portraits of them.  Working with children is always an interesting thing because frankly they'll do whatever they want, so their the one's running the show and you just have to wait till they feel like taking a close-up.  Anyway it was really fun and we got some great shots, and if that young girl looks familiar yes she is Dora the Explorer:

The Peach Kings

So I went down to State St. in Santa Barbara the other day.  I was intending to go watch a printmaking demonstration that was going on but I happened across this awesome musical duo singing in the Paseo Nuevo shopping center.  I had a big decision to make.  Stay and take pics, or go watch the demonstration...i chose pics!  I made a really good choice.  I really liked the music and the resulting photos, so here they are...ladies and gentlemen the Peach Kings:

Basketball
