Recent Randoms

Website Updated!!!

It's been quite some time since I've posted anything on this blog, let alone even logged into my account, which ordinarily would have made me feel like a terribly unproductive slob, but rest assured I have been using my time well.  I have spent the majority of the last 3 months working on a website update which has been thankfully quite an ordeal.  I say thankfully because I had a ton of images to cull through, which I take to mean that I am still doing work and not becoming stagnant.  One gallery had close to 200 images in it before I cut it down to around 50.  That took forever.  The whole thing took forever really, especially since I am super OCD about how my photos are displayed.  I think I resized every image on the website about 3 times trying to get the right sharpness.  It paid off though.  I really like the look and feel of the site.  Most of my new work is up there.  The navigation is a lot better than my last site as I am now using Squarespace.  So check it out HERE!

Now that the website is done, I would like to think that I can start relaxing a bit more and stop inhabiting crowded coffee shops for the use of the free wifi, but alas I cannot.  In the next months to come I am hoping to start emailing, calling, sending out postcards, etc. to agencies, art-buyers, and magazines who might actually be interested in hiring me.  It should be fun...and probably stressful, but I am excited for the possibilities and for what the upcoming year has in store.

After experiencing my first year of post-grad life and all its many joys (being dead broke, jobless, friendless, and self-diagnosing myself with every disease WebMD has a listing for) it can really only get better from here, right?  Anyway, I'll try and be more diligent about posting to the blog and keeping all my faithful followers up to date.  Laterz!
